Adventure

A land of volcanoes, rainforests and cloud forests, roaring waterfalls and mighty rivers, Costa Rica’s abundant natural setting can make it difficult to decide between the variety of adventurous activities that await in the area. Culture

Costa Rica is the country of Pura Vida — a friendly, multicultural and multilingual people descended from the cultural fusion of immigrants, including Africans, Chinese, Jews, Lebanese, Italians, and the indigenous peoples of the Bribrí, Cabécar, Maleku, Teribe, Boruca, Ngäbe, Huetar and Chorotega groups.

As such, the country is something of a melting pot, with the cultural influence of each group felt throughout the region. A custom-built sound studio houses a collection of instruments used in guided sound-healing sessions. Treatment rooms are available for massage, chiropractic sessions, energy work (such as Reiki), acupuncture, and other therapies. The top floor features 1,500 square feet of open space for retreats, workshops, and groups. The center is also wheelchair accessible.

Wake Day Spa has a solid menu of massages, body treatments, facials, and waxing services. In addition are its’ full-service nail care and hair station, along with a boutique clothing shop that encourages gathering and browsing..

Going beyond the typical spa atmosphere of Zen relaxation, we hope to create an inspiring place to be. Our facilities and ambiance are thoughtfully designed to include color, fun, and artistic elements that feel more social and thought-provoking than the usual spa serenity.

We provide a solid menu of massages, body treatments, facials, and waxing services. Wake Day Spa is a tranquil place to retreat from the stimuli of the outside world. Our public area includes a full-service nail care lounge, a hair station, and reception/retail area that encourages gathering and browsing. It is a place for more interaction and energy. We hope people will feel like it’s a fun place to hang out and feel good.
